We have signed up our first vendor Silex. The reason we went into partnership is this is a first of it’s kind, all in one huddle collaboration solution that feels natural to use and improves the flow of communication. Serviced based offices and corporate business are creating small collaboration break out rooms for 8 people and less and this technology is easy to set up and portable. This means if the room needs to be changed back into an office it can be within seconds.

SilexPro has 15 years of experience in the conferencing and the smart AV market and has been designing cutting edge smart technologies, selling mainly to the African market. The problem with traditional collaboration systems is there not built for huddle rooms of 8 people or less. Just like how we used the projector screen, a wall mounted screen doesn’t feel natural and we disengage what we are doing in the group to turn to look at the screen. This has detrimental affect on productivity and creativity. This is what we class as a destructive technology.

SilexPro have embraced the huddle theory. Just like when we play sports we huddle together to communicate, It feels natural and we benefit from the positive flow of conversation. So by having a center of the table solution where you can huddle round it, there are distinct advantages of doing so. This is what we class as a constructive technology.
